Documentary or classic film.  TBA.  Registration not necessary.  

Preschool Storytime for children up to age 5.  We enjoy stories, songs, exercise, and a craft each week.

The Hill:  (2h 6m)  The remarkable true-life story of Rickey Hill's improbable journey to play Major League Baseball. 

This class encourages gentle movement and breathing exercises to stretch and expand body strength.  Participants are asked only to extend their body as far as they feel comfortable.  Very beneficial for all aspects of life.

You know what we do!  Stop by for a hot dog lunch on our lawn.  (Weather permitting)  Free.  Over when we run out of dogs.

Join us for a sandwich on National Grilled Cheese Day.  Free.  Outside pending weather.  

Bring a chair, sleeping bag, or blanket.  Pack a picnic or not.  We will be making food at the library.

We have solar eclipse activities and crafts.

Please register to spend the afternoon with us.  

We will provide material and you paint something that strikes your fancy in the park.  Snacks.  Art will be displayed at the library.

Guest Artist, Gigi, will lead our class in panting unique book covers.  Registration a must.  Bring a dish and drink.  

Also referred to as a conversation salon and much like the artists at the Algonquin Hotel in New York, we have lively discussions about any number of topics.  All are welcome!  

The Joyful Bloomers have been around the Mon Valley for over 50 years.  They have been involved in projects and education for all this time.  Please, stop by and learn from these dedicated ladies about your garden and gardening.

Celebrating National Poetry month we welcome, Connellsville native Michael Comiskey.  He recently released his book of poems entitled “South of Pittsburgh Poems from Northern Appalachia,” a tribute to the area.

To round out National Library Week, Artist Christina Jones will lead this workshop making Garden Gnomes!  Registration Required.

Come and build with us today.  This afternoon, use our huge assortment of LEGOs to imagine and create anything you can envision.
